THE NATIONAL UNION OF METALLURGICAL, METAL-MECHANICAL AND ENERGY INDUSTRY WORKERS OF MOZAMBIQUE (SINTIME) PARTICIPATES IN THE HIGH-LEVEL CONFERENCE COMMEMORATING THE 80TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE 5TH CONGRESS OF THE PAN-AFRICAN PROGRESSIVE FRONT
A senior delegation from SINTIME will make a working visit to ACRA/Republic of GHANA in the second half of October this year, in response to the invitation issued by the PAN-AFRICAN PROGRESSIVE FRONT (PPF), through its Organizing Committee of the High-Level International Conference, on the occasion of the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the 5th PAN-AFRICAN Congress.
The PAN-AFRICAN PROGRESSIVE FRONT (PPF) is an international non-governmental organization headquartered in Accra, the capital of that West African country. The PPF Front is at the forefront of the struggle for African unification and is committed to coordinating and supporting progressive movements throughout Africa and the diaspora, with the aim of promoting the true interests and future of our continent.
Inspired by the vision of the great Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and other Pan-Africanists, the PPF Front believes that the destiny of Africa must be in the hands of its own people and that its future lies in its political, economic, and social unity, serving as the foundation of our continental strength and sovereignty.
The meeting will bring together progressive forces from around the world, including leaders of political parties, social movements, academia, civil society, and the diaspora.
The Conference aims to take stock of contemporary challenges and opportunities and will culminate in the adoption of the “Accra Declaration.” This fundamental document will outline concrete actions on key issues such as AFRICAN integration, justice, reparations, youth employment, peace and security, intra-African trade, and a mutual economic program. The event will be attended by several heads of state and other distinguished statesmen from Africa and other continents.

Uma Delegação sénior do SINTIME, efectua na II quinzena de Outubro do ano em curso uma visita de trabalho a ACRA/República de GANA, em resposta ao Convite formulado pela FRENTE PAN-AFRICANA PROGRESSISTA (PPF), por via do seu Comité Organizador da Conferência Internacional de alto nível, por ocasião das comemorações do 80º aniversário do V Congresso PAN-AFRICANO.
A FRENTE PAN-AFRICANA PROGRESSISTA (PPF) é uma Organização Não Governamental Internacional com a sede em ACRA, – Capital daquele país da Africa Ocidental. A Frente PPF está na vanguarda da luta pela unificação de África e está empenhada em coordenar e apoiar os Movimentos progressistas em toda a África e na diáspora, com O objectivo de promover os verdadeiros interesses e o futuro do nosso continente.

A Conferência pretende fazer um balanço dos desafios e oportunidades contemporâneos e culminará na adopção da “Declaração de Acra”. Este documento fundamental irá delinear acções concretas em questões- chaves, – como a integração AFRICANA, a justiça, as reparações, o emprego para os jovens, a paz e a segurança, o comércio intra-africano e um programa económico mútuo. A ocasião contará com a presença de alguns chefes de Estado e outros ilustres estadistas de África e de outros continentes.
